1. Your photos and videos
Arraya AI reads only the photos and videos you choose (or, if you give full Photos access, the photos it uses for "Your month in a minute" and "Trips by place"). All processing — arranging, effects, colorizing, restoring, music matching and captions — runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks and models bundled in the app. Finished movies and photos are saved on your iPhone and, when you choose, to your Photos library. Nothing is sent to the developer.
2. Place names
To name trips (for example "Goa 2025"), the app sends the location coordinates saved in some of your photos to Apple's geocoding service (Apple Maps), which returns a place name. No photo is sent. Apple handles this under the Apple Privacy Policy.
3. Google Photos (optional)
If you connect Google Photos, you sign in on Google's own page and pick items in Google's Photos Picker. The app asks only for read-only access to the items you pick (scope photospicker.mediaitems.readonly), downloads those items directly from Google to your iPhone, and stores the sign-in token in the iPhone's Keychain. The developer never receives your Google data or token. You can disconnect in Settings › Google Photos, or remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Arraya AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to show the items you picked and make your movie on your device; it is not transferred, sold, used for advertising, or read by people.
4. Invites (optional)
If you use Invite friends, you sign in with Apple. The app stores in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit public database for Arraya AI) only: a one-way hash of your Sign in with Apple identifier, your 6-character invite code, and whether a friend joined and made a first movie. Your name and email are not requested. You can delete this at any time in Settings › Invite friends › Delete Invite Account.
5. Purchases
Arraya AI Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes payment; the app only receives confirmation that your subscription is active. See the Apple Privacy Policy. Free-movie counters are kept in your iPhone's Keychain.
6. Notifications
Reminders such as "Your month in a minute" and "Your movie is ready" are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No push service collects data.
7. What we don't do
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No uploading of photos, videos, faces or voice to any server or AI service.
If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics.
8. Keeping and deleting data
Everything the app makes stays on your iPhone until you delete it. Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone (Keychain counters may remain until the iPhone is erased). Invite data is removed with Delete Invite Account.
9. Children
Arraya AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Your rights and contact
Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be handled in the app. For any question or request (including under the GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), email ron@nottonine.com. We reply within 30 days.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
